It would have been nice if they focused on hardcore titles but come on; it would be even better if they decided to focus on hardcore brand new titles instead of established franchises. I’m sick of seeing the same old crap year after year. They need something besides Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. Nintendo did a great job thinking outside of the box with the system, now they just need to do it for the games.

The Wii remote has its flaws, but it is still a very innovative controller. I’m glad Nintendo tried something new; I just wish it would be used in more hardcore games. They should design games around one control method, and this attachment should help make it more precise, and hopefully fix the lag. Some games are a great experience with the controller such as Metroid Prime 3.

I disagree with you. I am disappointed with the emphasis on casual games, but there have been and still will be more great games for the Wii. The 360 is my favorite system this generation, but the Wii still has some solid titles such as Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, SSBB, Mario Kart, Fire Emblem, and I’m looking forward to Tales of Symphonia 2 most of all. Also, some of the casual games are pretty fun. Wii isn’t a failure; it is just somewhat disappointing.
