$40-$60 is usually … $40-$60 is usually the price for new games for any system, even ty ones. Then again, around the time NES was around, we had no clue about the possibility of future systems being like the Wii, PS3, or X-box.
I think paying up $90 for a special MegaMan 9 cartridge for the NES would be an acceptable price as a collector’s item. Anything more than that would be too expensive.

If I also had the … If I also had the money, I’d try to buy it too. Originally, NES games were $60, and if we weren’t to buy Mega Man 9 at its release, I’m sure we could find them on Ebay (at an increased price unfortunatelY)…

I wasn’t … I wasn’t disagreeing with you on that… in fact, I’d probably be one of the people to buy the cartridge (since I still have a working NES and I still play it frequently). ^_^

Some changes can be … Some changes can be made, some of the background material, the pixelated art at the end, etc, etc. I’m not it’d be a perfect adaptation to the old cartridges, I’m saying it’d be a perfect collector’s item for those who are really serious about their gaming.
Believe it or not, people will pay for those games. Especially if there are a limited number of cartridges made.

There’s no way that … There’s no way that the game would be able to fit on an old NES cartridge. Almost none of the NES cartridges could hold 1 megabyte of memory, and the game is well over that (the game looks like an NES, but made with a modern-day engine).

Mine actually works … Mine actually works pretty well. I just prefer my FC Twin because it’s less time to switch from my NES to my SNES and it’s easier to switch between all the systems I have without the constant need to change the set up.

casualvideogamer, … casualvideogamer, like others have said, the system is obsolete, so unless you have them from back in the day…it would be impossible to play this game on the cartridge. I have mine in my room still, but it barely works. I bet most people who still have their NES, will find that it doesn’t work very well anymore.

Yeah I realize that … Yeah I realize that. I personally have an FC Twin. Though that doesn’t mean Nintendo can release a limited of, like, 50 games on the cartridge. They like making money, right? Well there’s their chance. An actual collector’s item.

That’s still almost … That’s still almost impossible since the systems are obsolete. Plus, it’s alot easier to buy them off your new console’s network. Not everyone still has there NES, while some others’ NES are broken. I know mine is.

I actually think … I actually think that’s a good idea. Though Capcom should release MegaMan 9 on the old 8-bit cartridge for the gamers who still have the NES. , it may even encourage new gamers to buy it.

Some people say … Some people say capcom is stupid for going on with old franchises and milking nostalgia, but imho, this game is revolutionary in a way. Finally a game that was made for GAMERS. It was made to draw you in with great gameplay and being fun, instead of jumping the newest graphical gimmicks with shallow gameplay bandwagon like so many other developers. Lets hope more companies follow suit and games become fun again!
