Yeah I was talking about killing a boss 4 times. I see what you mean though with having to do something 3 times. I thought you meant kill. To make it easier for some DAK075 means that you have to i.e. shoot an arrow 3 times, hit them with something 3 times. P.S. I was talking about the final boss in twilight.

what i mean’t was when you have to kill a single boss more than once and Devil may cry did it also and i forget the what other capcom games but i know in a good majority that u usually have to fight certin other bosses again before u can access the final boss.

I am talking about that in order to get to the next phase or “form” of the boss, you have to do something 3 times in order to advance. And they are most likely talking about fighting the same boss 3 times.

he means the final boss… most likelly.
but wait… did you mean a boss with more than 1 form? (or phase for that matter), cause almost every game I have played has had a boss with multiple forms so I don’t think its a Zelda principle at all. What I think the above posters were speaking off was that you have to fight the same bosses yet again before going to the final battle (except Orochi which is a third time you fight him)

Again, I could be misunderstanding what you mean .__.

I know it was in WindWaker and Twilight Princess I forget if that rule applies to other Zelda games. I think Orcarina of Time had that rule.

errrr I think the only Zelda game that has had that was WindWaker (correct me if I’m wrong since I’m not sure).

And to DarkmanDS254: please name me another CAPCOM game aside from the megaman games and this one that has had that system before the final boss. (I’m curious to know lol)

The old Legend of …
The old Legend of Zelda principle. You have to do the same thing over again 3 times with each time becoming slightly more difficult in order to beat the boss or go on to the next phase.

yeah no kidding thats one thing that always bugged me about capcom games And why do we have to kill it three times!!
