I studied classical piano for a few years and play rhythm guitar now for fun… this game isn’t about playing instruments really, it’s about playing around and stumbling upon interesting things. It’s just their silly marketing that makes people think it’s about playing instruments. It’s a fun game IMHO.

I play violin and …
I play violin and saxaphone the game looks so silly. Anyone can play an air violin, harp, or saxaphone, I just think it’s silly and not worth $50. If you want to play an instrament get a real one, I got m violin for $100 bucks, just twice the cost of the game.

I like how you stumbled when trying to explain how free/not free you are to choose notes (near 7:15)… I don’t think anyone can describe that yet… it will take a long time and lots of people posting their videos to see how free you can be. Check my vids – I have ONLY 1 improvised piece after 12 hours on this game! It’s hard!

that would be awesome if thats true, which i dont know if it is. i remeber when it was called the revolution. i hated it because it was called the “remote” and i was like, thats dumb, how can you play an intense game when you have to reach down and hit the buttons. but it turend out to be shorter. the controller had a different look to it too, same with the console. thanks for the awesome review by the way, i might get the game today because of this. nice job DudeReviews!! :]
